Witchcraft and the Occult

1.  God's people were warned to have nothing to do with spiritualism. Lev. 19:31.

2.  Any of God's people indulging in witchcraft or spiritualism was to be killed. Lev. 20:27.

3.  Witchcraft or spiritualism included worshipping images and idols.  2Kings 23:24.

4.  Child sacrifice was also part of witchcraft and was prohibited. Deut. 18:10.

5.  Talking to devils through mediums is part of witchcraft and is prohibited. Lev. 19:31.

6.  Witchcraft also involves devil possession, where the devil controls an individual. Acts. 16:16-18.

7.  Jesus has cast out devils out of individuals many times. And we are to do the same. Mat. 17:18; Luke 10:17.

8.  The devil's sole purpose is to destroy humans, especially God's people. 1Pet. 5:8.

9.  The devil is constantly at war with God's people who are obedient to his commandments. Rev. 12:17.

10.  God will completely destroy the devil and his angels when He renews this earth.  Mat. 25:41.
