1. The resurrection is possible due to Jesus' death. Romans 5:8-10; 1Cor. 15:21.

2. There will be two resurrections.  John 5:28, 29.

3. Only the Saints will achieve the second resurrection.  Rev. 20:6.

4. The wicked will take part in the second resurrection and will suffer the second death.  Rev. 20:12-14.

5. There will be a resurrection because when we die we go to the grave and not straight to heaven.  John 14:1-3; John 6:40, 44, 54.

6. Jesus is the resurrection and the life.  John 11:25.

7. Without the resurrection we are of all men most miserable.  1Cor. 15:16-20.

8. The resurrection of Lazarus is a example of what will happen to the dead saints.  John 11:43, 44.  1Cor. 15:22.

9. The resurrection introduces a new life without sin for the saints.  Rev. 21:4.
