A N G E L S   Pt. 2

1.  Lucifer, Satan, is an angel created by God.  Isa. 14:12; Luke 10:18

2.  Lucifer fell into sin when he became jealous of God. Isa. 14:12-15; Eze. 28:12-15

3.  Sin and rebellion against God started in heaven with Lucifer. Rev. 12:7-9; 1 John 3:8

4.  Evil angels tempt mankind to continue in sin against God.  1 Pet. 5:8

5.  Evil angels can possess humans and take control of them.  Mat. 4:24; Mat. 8:16

6.  Jesus has given his followers the power to cast out devils from people as He did.  Mat. 10:7, 8   

7.  Humans can over come Satan only through the blood of (power of) Jesus Christ.  Rev. 12:10, 11

8.  The devil knows that his end is near, so he tries to wreak havoc among people.  Rev. 12:12

9.  The devil caused one third of the angels in heaven to sin with him.  Rev. 12:4, 9; Rev. 1:20

10. The devil, his angels, and all humans that have rejected God's salvation will be totally destroyed in the end.  Rev. 20:10, 14, 15; Mat. 25:41
